Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day after paying condolences over the death of Nelson Mandela. 

This is the second day of the Winter Session which was adjourned without accomplishing any legislative business.

The Legislative Agenda for today in the Lok Sabha included the consideration and passing of The Marriage Laws (Amendment) Bill 2013The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2013The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2011and The Regional Centre for Biotechnology Bill, 2011

Listed for consideration and passing in Rajya Sabha were The Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2013 and The Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Bill, 2013.
