M R Madhavan
Prior to starting PRS, Madhavan was based in Singapore covering currency and interest rate markets as Principal and Senior Strategist for the Asia region for Bank of America. He started his career with ICICI Securities in Mumbai in the equity research group and later headed interest rates research. He is a Fellow (doctorate) from IIM Calcutta, MBA from IIM Calcutta and holds a B. Tech degree from IIT Madras. In 2010, Madhavan was selected as a Chevening Gurukul Scholar at the London School of Economics.
He is a Mechanical (Automobile) Engineer and holds a Masters degree in Regulatory Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Prior to joining the Masters program, he worked for two years as an Engineer in international business development (Aerospace) at Tata Advanced Materials Limited, Bengaluru. Aditya has interned at Council on Energy, Environment and Water, New Delhi and the Prayas Energy Group, Pune.
He has previously worked with Reliance Communications, Sasken Technologies and Nokia Networks, handling operations and maintenance as well as global product support for telecom networks. He holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Anurag holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Earlier has worked with Samagra Governance, and EXL Analytics as a Consultant.
Anya Bharat Ram
She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science, with specialisation in Gender Studies, from Davidson College, North Carolina, USA. Before joining PRS she worked at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, New Delhi.
He is an expert on the rules and procedures of Parliament and its functioning. He anchors programs to strengthen the capacity of legislators at the centre and state level. He supports civil society organisations to engage with legislatures and has trained journalist groups about tracking the functioning of Parliament and State Vidhan Sabhas. He has also been involved in setting up the first comprehensive database of state legislation in the country. He writes regularly on legislative issues and about the strengthening of the institution of Parliament. Chakshu is an IVLP and INK Fellow and holds a bachelor’s degrees from Delhi University.
She is responsible for content updation on the Laws of India and PRS websites, state laws data compilation and assisting the PRS team in administrative functions. She has worked with BSA Logistics Company in the customer care division and Solution-Digitas as a Quality Analyst. Hema holds Bachelors degrees in Arts from Delhi University and a Diploma in Office Management from the YMCA, New Delhi.
She holds a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from University of Delhi. She has interned with Doordarshan, NDTV and Youth Ki Awaaz. Her sound design "Lonely Lives" was screened at the 11th IAWRT Asian Women's Film Festival.
Kusum is an Project Manager who focuses on tracking the work done by legislators and legislatures. She is in charge of content management of PRS websites. In addition, she oversees the translation of PRS research products. She has earlier worked with the Centre for Policy Research supporting the work of different research teams. Kusum holds Bachelors degrees in Commerce from Delhi University and Diploma in Financial Management and Accountability from FMSF- Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
She led PRS' engagement with MPs, to provide them legislative and policy support. Her core role involved engaging with MPs regularly to understand their research needs, briefing them on upcoming issues and designing initiatives that add value to the work of MPs. Mandira also anchored the LAMP Fellowship during its initial years. Previously, she has worked in the research team of Azim Premji Foundation, Bangalore and Centre for Social Policy, Boston, USA. She was awarded the UNDP Asia- Pacific Human Development Academic Fellowship in 2008. Mandira was selected as an Emerging Leaders Fellow 2011-12 by the Australia India Institute at the University of Melbourne. She has a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
He holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from the University of Pune and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York. Prior to joining PRS, he has worked with Mu Sigma and ZS Associates.
Before PRS, she studied public policy with a concentration in technology at Sciences Po, Paris. Prior to that, she was a reporter for Reuters News, and then a product manager for ClearTax.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from NMIMS, Mumbai and a Masters degree in Economics from Columbia University, New York. Madhunika has interned with Columbia Business School as a research assistant and with the National Stock Exchange of India in the Economics and Policy Research Department.
He has a Masters degree in Urban Governance from SciencesPo, Paris and a Bachelors in Political Science (Honours) from Sri Venkateswara College. He has previously interned at Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, India and was involved in a capstone research project with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
At PRS she published research focussed on the infrastructure sectors including railways, transport and land related matters. Previously, she has worked with the New York City - Department of Transportation, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy at Cambridge, US, and the NYU Wagner School of Public Service conducting research on various urban planning issues. Prior to that, Prachee worked in Mumbai as an architect. She has a Masters degree in Urban Planning from New York University, US and a Bachelors degree in Architecture from NIT Bhopal.
She has a Master's degree in Development and Public Policy from Sciences Po, Paris and a Bachelor of Management Studies from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She was awarded the ERASMUS scholarship to study a semester at School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Prachi has interned with PWC, and the Young Bhartiya Foundation, Mumbai.
Ruchi is a Program Officer with the outreach team, focusing on LAMP Fellowship Program. In the past, she has worked with Udhyam Learning Foundation and Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership in the domain of entrepreneurship and education. She has a Bachelors degree in Mass Media from KC College, Mumbai University.
Prior to joining PRS, she worked in Samvad Partners, Bangalore in the areas of banking & finance, venture capital and private equity transactions, cross-border and domestic acquisitions. Roshni has also previously worked in the Corporate Legal Group of ICICI Bank where she advised the bank on domestic and offshore lending transactions. She holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and a Masters in Law from University College London.
Saket has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Agartala. Prior to joining PRS, he worked as an IT Consultant with Oracle Financial Services Software Limited in Mumbai.
She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi. Shruti has previously worked with the BBC's Monitoring Division, covering South-Asian geo-politics and the Centre for Civil Society, where she researched on business reforms, education and economic rights for street vendors.
Suyash has a B.Tech. (Hons.) and M.Tech. in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He has previously interned with the Ministry of Steel while at KPMG, and the Accountability Initiative, Centre for Policy Research.
