The Standing Committee dealt with the functioning of the Screening Committee, guidelines on allocation of coal blocks, the monitoring mechanism and the review of the coal blocks by the Inter Ministerial Group.

The CAG submitted a report on the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme, 2008 on March 5, 2013. The audit was undertaken to assess whether the implementation of the scheme was in accordance with its guidelines.
