Budget Session: March 16 – May 22, 201
Highlights
- Parliament meets for the Budget Session between March 12 and May 22, 2012. The session will have a recess from March 31 to April 23, 2012. There will be a total of 35 sittings.
- The President will address Parliament on March 12. The Railways Budget will be presented on March 14. The Economic Survey will be released on March 15. The Union Budget will be presented on March 16, 2012.
- The agenda for government Bills includes 39 pending Bills for consideration and passing. The Finance Bill, 2012 is listed for introduction, consideration and passing. The government plans to introduce 30 new Bills. We list these below.
