|Both the houses of Parliament adjourned sine die on December 18, two days ahead of the schedule. Several hours were lost due to disruptions on issues related to separate statehood for Telangana and cases of sexual harassment of women by prominent people. A no-confidence motion was proposed by some MPs against the government. Owing to the continued disruptions, the motion was not admitted as the Speaker could not ascertain whether the motion had the required support. Lok Sabha worked for 6% of the scheduled hours and Rajya Sabha for 19%. Six legislative bills were introduced while one legislative and two appropriation bills were passed by both houses. Two bills were withdrawn during the session.
