PRS Legislative Research and Voice of Himachal (VOH) jointly organised a workshop for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and journalists on legislative processes and tracking legislators on September 17, 2009, in Simla.
The workshop aimed at informing participants about the various avenues of engagement with legislators and legislative process. The journalists and civil society workers raised various questions with regard to parliamentary processes and tools that they could adopt to engage with MPs. The workshop also provided a forum for participants to share their experiences and share their ideas of engagement that they would like to pursue after the workshop.
