PRS Legislative Research in collaboration with CSO partners conducted a series of workshops in different parts of the country on 'Engaging with Parliamentarians'.
These workshops were held in Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Bangalore and Bhubaneswar over a period of four months.
These workshops were conducted for people from various NGOs to bring them closer to the policy making process.
It equipped the NGOs to
1. Track the activities of the legislators
2. Use parliamentary procedures to raise their concerns in the Parliament and State Assemblies
3. Engage with MPs and MLAs effectively
These workshops were greatly appreciated by the participants. It gave them insights into the working of the Parliamentarians.
